Course Description


IS102 & IS103 Courses - ISSO/ISSM FOUNDATIONs

IS102: This is an Online-Self-Paced On Demand course.  While the course is open for a 2-week period, you can work at your own pace. In this course, students will learn the general requirements for becoming an ISSO or ISSM in the AF IC. Students are expected to have familiarity with their roles and responsibilities and understand what is a requirement as a minimum. These courses meet AF IC ISSO/ISSM training policy requirements. As this is an on demand course you may start as soon as your registration is approved.

IS103: In this 3-day, Remote-Instructor-Led course, students will learn the general requirements for becoming an ISSO or ISSM in the AF IC. SO102 Course - Information System Owner FOUNDATIONs

This is an Online-Self-Paced Self Paced On Demand course. This course introduces the roles and responsibilities of the Information System Owner (ISO) in the AF IC. It provides a basic understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Federal guidance and policies, as well as the responsibilities of key roles within the accreditation process.  As this is an on demand course you may start as soon as your registration is approved. This course meets AF IC Mandatory Training Policy requirements. 

Sp103 Course - Introduction to xacta in the AF IC 

SP103: This 4-day Remote-Instructor Led course is designed for new to novice Xacta 360 users in the AF IC (4.1 template).  This course teaches basic navigation and data input techniques using AFIC RMF principles for site personnel. 


Sp113 Course - Xacta.io User Training 

SP113: This 3-day Remote-Instructor Led course is designed for new to novice Xacta.io users in the AF IC.  Teaches basic navigation, asset management, and vulnerability management techniques as well as integration with Xacta 360. 


RE102 - Remwar training course

RE102: This 60-minuite Self-Paced course introduces the Removable Media Read-Write Access Request Policy as defined by the Air Force Intelligence Community (AF IC) and the basic requirements for moving data to different classifications. It provides a basic understanding of the procedures and safeguards required to move data.   


Introduction to AF DCGS Training 

DC102: This online Self-Paced course is designed to provide an introduction and foundational knowledge for newly assigned 1D7 and 17DX or airmen with less than 1 year experience in DGS sites to learn of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) and its role as an integral component of the United States Air Force’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.  Registration is on the AF IC Training SharePoint page. 


Quarterly Disinformation on Social media Training

TR102: This quarter's topic is internet trolls and trolling. The topic is addressed in a 30-60 minute Self Paced course, and highlights what internet trolls are and how to spot them. By recognizing internet trolls, it allows one to properly respond to their tactics.


Instructional Delivery Options

Remote-Instructor-Led Option 

An online class is a course conducted over the Internet. They are conducted through a learning management system, in which students can view their course syllabus and academic progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course instructors.



Online-Self-Paced Option 

In Online-Self-Paced courses, these online courses are self-paced and fully asynchronous, meaning there is no instructor. These courses allow you to acquire new skills according to your own schedule. As this is an on demand courses you may start as soon as your registration is approved.
